A campaign for the Public Automotive Safety System—also known as PASS—a highway scanning software used by the Department of Justice to scan the license plates of passing vehicles on the highway and facial recognition software, cross referencing local and state law enforcement databases, the FBI National Crime Information Center database, and DMV records to locate and stop criminals from utilizing national highways to evade arrest or commit crime.
